Cancellation Policy

Cancellations

We understand that circumstances may occur that prevent you from keeping an appointment. Should you need to cancel an appointment, we kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Failure to show up for an appointment, not giving a 24 hours notice prior to cancelling appointment, or showing up late for an appointment may result in a missed appointment fee. When you fail to cancel an appointment, you could be preventing another patient from receiving veterinary care.

Tardiness

Delays can happen and are often unplanned. We understand they can occur, however, to provide equal patient care to all of our patients, it is important that we keep our veterinarian(s) on time. If you arrive 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, we are now overbooking, and an additional fee may be applied. If you arrive 15 minutes or more past your appointment time, you may be asked to reschedule for another time.

No Shows

When you fail to arrive at all for your scheduled appointment, and have not notified us of the need to cancel, it impacts our schedule and our ability to care for other patients on that day. If a client has two (2) or more “no shows,” we may elect to no longer reserve appointments for the client, provide care to that client’s pet(s), or may charge a non-refundable deposit prior to scheduling an appointment for the client.

*Please note that any combination of the above, when done more than two (2) times by a client, may result in the clinic electing to no longer reserve appointments for a client, provide care to that client’s pet(s), or may result in a non-refundable deposit prior to scheduling an appointment.
