Services

Comprehensive Medicine

From first puppy and kitten visits, vaccines and preventative wellness care, to organ specific internal medicine, our doctors have over 60 years of combined veterinary experience.

Urgent Care Service

Our hospital is equipped to handle most veterinary emergency situations. During business hours, we can provide on-site diagnostics, an oxygen therapy kennel for respiratory emergencies, blood transfusion services and more. After 5pm on weekdays and on weekends, we refer to Paw Health Network – an overnight emergency veterinary hospital.

Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Surgery

Our doctors perform a wide variety of sterile surgical procedures, including elective procedures (spay, neuter, growth removals), organ specific procedures (cystotomy, splenectomy, intestinal surgery), and some orthopedic procedures (cruciate ligament stabilization, leg splinting). Your pet is given discomfort medication and monitored under anesthesia very closely by a doctor and certified veterinary technician, as well as with specialized monitoring equipment to measure blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate throughout the procedure. During recovery, your pet is monitored closely, to ensure your pet is recovering safely and appropriately.

Digital Radiography

We now have the capability of capturing high quality whole body and dental digital x-rays to obtain the best possible picture of what is happening inside your pet’s body.

In-house Laboratory Diagnostics

Our hospital has the capability of performing accurate and quick diagnostic testing on multiple patient samples. This aids in obtaining a reliable, fast diagnosis so your pet can be feeling better faster.

Surgical Laser and Electrosurgery

To supplement our high quality surgery services, clients are offered these surgical options to improve patient comfort.

Class IV Laser Therapy

One more option we have for treating pain, inflammation, and infection! Laser therapy uses a specific wavelength of light to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes, releasing natural pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties at the site of treatment. Laser therapy can be used on a surgical site post-operatively, for soft tissue (tendon/muscle) injuries, skin burns and infections, spine and nerve trauma, degenerative arthritis, and ear infections to name a few conditions. There are no ill side-effects to treatment, the pet does not need to be sedated, and often times the pet finds the treatment enjoyable. Laser therapy is frequently performed in conjunction with other forms of physical therapy and post-operative pain management.

Dentistry and Oral Surgery

Pets need oral health care just as much as we do! Regular brushing and dental exams are crucial to a pet’s overall health. When dental problems do arise, our doctors have extensive knowledge in dental radiography and periodontal disease, and can advise the best treatment for a particular dental condition.

Nutrition

Different sizes, ages, and breeds of pets have different nutritional needs. Our hospital carries a selection of quality pet foods, prescription diets, treats, and dental products. We can customize a feeding plan for your pet according to its needs to keep your pet healthy and happy for many years!

Behavior Consultation

While we all hope that our pet will be perfect, sometimes behavior problems do arise. If such a time comes, please consult with our veterinarians or a certified animal behaviorist before the behavior becomes uncontrollable, or worse, dangerous! Our doctors are here to help you and your beloved pet stay happy!

OFA Certification

Our doctors are trained to perform these specialized radiographs at your request to aid in your breeding strategy to reduce the frequency and severity of degenerative arthritis. These radiographs will also identify the early potential for this debilitating disease in your otherwise healthy appearing pet, so that early supportive management can be initiated.

House Calls

In the event that you cannot bring your pet to our hospital, a doctor and technician can travel to your home to examine and treat your pet. Additionally, we can transport your pet to our hospital in the event the pet needs to be hospitalized.

End of Life Care

When a beloved pet has a long-term condition and you would like advice on quality of life and hospice care, you can call and discuss your options with a compassionate doctor.

Payment Options

We require payment at the time of service and accept cash, check, and credit card. We also accept Care Credit.
